What goals to you hope to accomplish by the time you are 25

There are lots of things I want to accomplish before I am 25. But for a teenager and Grade 8 student at Webb, the following three ones are listed among my top priorities.

The very first goal of mine is to gain some experience in trading. Because I dream of running a sneaker shop of my own. This will surely help me in my future business. For example, every successful businessman carries out their business to accumulate experience, like Ma Yun (Jack), Chinese business magnate and co-founder of Alibaba Group. Jack Ma came to finally establish  Alibaba e-commerce platform before having tried a wide array of businesses and earned rich experience in the brutal market competition; and as far as I know, Rome was not built in a day.

My second goal is to try my best to obtain good grades at Webb for my application of universities. It is known that one's ambitions need hard work and strength (or we may call 'evidence') to sustain and support. Only if I would get straight A's can I have a chance to be admitted by top universities in the United States. For instance, Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook) did a lot of crazy things and violated school rules several times in his high school days but he still made great efforts to achieve good scores and then went to Harvard when he graduated from his high school. If he did not work hard and had good grades, he would be bound to fail without any doubt.

The third goal but not necessarily the last one among the three goals is to make two or three true friends beyond Webb in the United States. Although I am a kind, proactive and open-minded boy, I still sometimes feel lonely and under great pressure in this new environment after having traveled thousands of miles from China. As an old saying goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed. We can help and encourage each other when one of us fails, without taking into account such utilitarian concerns as money and social/political status. In addition, a true friend can help make us well aware of our own possible flaws and ready to make progress. They would place priorities upon my moral quality and we may help each other better understand the cultures and customs of each other.
